COMMUNITY zine

£1.00

Image of COMMUNITY zine

A zine on the theme of COMMUNITY, containing stories and experiences and explorations on ideas of community via writing, drawing and collage.
Themes include Ramadan, Bradford City football team, the story of a community garden, reflections on post Brexit racism and strategies for surviving far right popular crises, and the power of smiling to feel connected to others

The zine was made in June/July 2016 by members and friends of Wur Bradford, an arts and social space based in the city's Kirkgate Market, exploring how we can make our city better through imagination and collective/creative action. The zine is dedicated to the late Jo Cox MP, who said
"We are far more united and have far more in common that things that divide us"

24 pages, black and white, photocopied.
